German power metal titans PRIMAL FEAR return in 2025 with their blistering new single “The Hunter,” the opening track from their upcoming album Domination, set for release on September 5 via Reigning Phoenix Music. The track showcases the band’s renewed lineup, revitalized energy, and unmistakable metal might.

The powerful new single, “The Hunter,” kicks off Domination with tension-building harmonies and thunderous instrumentation before bursting into full-force metal. Backed by dystopian, sci-fi-themed lyrics and vocalist Ralf Scheepers’ commanding delivery, the track sets the stage for what promises to be one of PRIMAL FEAR’s most ambitious releases to date.

Recorded at Dennis Ward’s Kangaroo Studios in Germany, Domination was produced by Mat Sinner, co-produced by Ralf Scheepers and Magnus Karlsson, and mixed/mastered by longtime collaborator Jacob Hansen in Denmark.

After debuting their new lineup at Rock In Rautheim (May 2025), PRIMAL FEAR will return to the road this fall for their longest European tour since 2018. Joining them as special guests are Reigning Phoenix Music labelmates ELEINE.
This follows a major lineup shakeup in 2024 when long-time members Alex Beyrodt, Tom Naumann, Michael Ehré, and Alex Jansen stepped down due to internal differences — a transition that the band has embraced with a focus on creative evolution and unity.
