Francis Ford Coppola Brings Megalopolis to Life With Exclusive Live Tour & Film Screening Experience

Legendary director Francis Ford Coppola is inviting moviegoers to experience his boldest cinematic vision yet — Megalopolis — in a way that only he could deliver. This summer, Coppola will embark on a limited-city tour for An Evening With Francis Ford Coppola and Megalopolis Screening, a unique event that combines an immersive film screening with an intimate, live conversation and Q&A session.
The event, promoted by Live Nation, kicks off July 20 in Red Bank, NJ, and will hit select cities including Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, and more.
🎬 Megalopolis: A Cinematic Epic Reimagining the Future
Set in a futuristic version of New York rebranded as New Rome, Megalopolis tells the story of Cesar Catilina, a visionary architect who dreams of a utopian society. Opposing him is Mayor Franklyn Cicero, a power-hungry politician clinging to a crumbling system. Their conflict escalates into an epic battle of ideals, all while Julia Cicero, the mayor’s daughter, finds herself torn between love and loyalty.

Each evening will include a special in-person appearance by Francis Ford Coppola, who will lead a post-screening discussion titled “How To Change Our Future.” This open forum invites the audience to reflect on the themes of the film — technology, civilization, and human potential — and engage directly with one of cinema’s most iconic storytellers.
“This is the way MEGALOPOLIS was meant to be seen — in a large venue, with a crowd, and followed by intense interactive discussions about the future,” says Coppola.
