Deftones have officially canceled their performance at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival due to an undisclosed illness within the band. The Sacramento-based alternative metal legends were scheduled to perform at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, England, but were forced to pull out hours before showtime.
The band released a statement via Instagram Stories confirming the news and expressing deep disappointment:
“In an unfortunate development, an illness in the band is going to prevent us from playing Glastonbury tonight.
We’re devastated to be missing out on something we’ve been looking forward to for months, but sometimes circumstances out of our control interfere with things we want to do the most.
We really hope to return to Glastonbury soon, and as it currently stands, we plan on seeing you tomorrow at Crystal Palace.”
✅ Crystal Palace Park Show Still Scheduled for June 29
Despite the Glastonbury cancellation, DEFTONES still plan to perform their headlining show at Crystal Palace Park in London on Saturday, June 29. The band emphasized that they are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates if anything changes.
