Metallica’s M72 World Tour isn’t done yet — and Europe, you’re next! Following a thunderous global run through 2023–2025, Metallica just confirmed that the M72 Tour will roar back across Europe in 2026 for an epic year four featuring No Repeat Weekends, One Night Only shows, and brand-new cities added to the map.
Launching May 9, 2026, in Athens, Greece, and wrapping up with back-to-back blowouts at London Stadium on July 3 & 5, this new European leg will bring Metallica’s innovative in-the-round stage, electrifying performances, and dynamic setlists to fans hungry for more.
🎸 What’s New in M72 Europe 2026?
- Return of the Snake Pit: That signature 360° stage setup will be front and center again, with fans getting an all-angles assault from James, Lars, Kirk, and Rob.
- No Repeat Weekends: Back by popular demand, these special 2-night events in Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin, and London will feature two completely unique setlists, two different opening acts, and no repeated songs.
- One Night Only Shows: Metallica will visit eight cities for single-night stadium blasts, including long-awaited returns to Cardiff, Athens, and Chorzów—some for the first time in over a decade.
- Support Acts: Each night will feature a powerful double bill, with returning tour partners Pantera and Gojira, as well as Knocked Loose and Avatar joining the fray.
